What is MAC Address Vendor Lookup?
Every network interface card (NIC) has a unique MAC (Media Access Control) address. The first 6 characters (3 bytes) of a MAC address form the OUI (Organizationally Unique Identifier), which is assigned by the IEEE to device manufacturers. This tool looks up the OUI to identify which company manufactured the network device.
