Terms of Service
Last updated: May 22, 2026
Welcome to OPS-BOX.net ("the Site"). By accessing or using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Site.
1. Description of Service
OPS-BOX provides a collection of free, browser-based IT tools designed for network engineers, security professionals, and software developers. Our tools include subnet calculators, DNS lookup utilities, SSL certificate checkers, password generators, hash generators, and other related utilities.
Most tools process data entirely within your web browser using client-side JavaScript. Certain tools (such as DNS Lookup, SSL Checker, IP Location, and DNS Dumpster) make requests to third-party public APIs to retrieve external data. In these cases, only the data you explicitly enter (e.g., a domain name or IP address) is transmitted to the API provider — no personal information is sent.
2. Acceptable Use
You may use OPS-BOX for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:
- Use the tools to engage in any activity that violates applicable local, national, or international laws
- Attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Site or any related system without authorization
- Use automated scripts to excessively access the Site in a manner that could impair its performance for other users
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Site's backend systems
- Use the DNS Dumpster or similar tools for unauthorized reconnaissance against systems you do not own or have permission to test
3. No Account Required
OPS-BOX does not require you to create an account or provide any personal information to use its tools. You may use all tools freely without registration.
4. Intellectual Property
The content, design, layout, and code of OPS-BOX are the intellectual property of OPS-BOX and its creators. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from the Site's code or content without prior written permission.
The output generated by the tools (e.g., calculated subnets, generated passwords, formatted JSON) belongs to you and may be used freely for any purpose.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
OPS-BOX is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:
- The tools will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free
- The results produced by the tools are 100% accurate or suitable for any particular purpose
- The Site is free from viruses or other harmful components
While we strive for accuracy in all our tools, you should independently verify results for critical or production use. Network calculations, DNS data, and SSL certificate information may vary depending on timing, resolver, and configuration.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, OPS-BOX, its creators, contributors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:
- Your use of or inability to use the Site or its tools
- Any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in tool outputs
- Network misconfigurations, security incidents, or data loss resulting from reliance on tool outputs
- Any unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
7. Third-Party Services
Certain tools on OPS-BOX rely on third-party APIs and services to function. These include but are not limited to:
- Public DNS resolver APIs for DNS lookups
- SSL certificate inspection APIs
- IP geolocation data providers
- Google Analytics for anonymous usage analytics
- Google AdSense for advertising
We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or privacy practices of these third-party services. Each service is governed by its own terms of service and privacy policy.
8. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect information when you use OPS-BOX.
9. Modifications to These Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of OPS-BOX after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
